Ten members of the Arkansas Tech University community participated in an orientation program for incoming faculty members in advance of the fall 2026 semester.
Offered by the ATU Center for Faculty LIFE (Learning, Innovation, Faculty and Engagement), the program seeks to inform and inspire faculty who are new to Arkansas Tech.
Participants in the fall 2026 new faculty orientation program were:
- Cathryn Bass, instructor of health and physical education
- Dr. Vinicius Alves Cruz, assistant professor of agriculture
- Dr. Satyavan Digole, assistant professor of mechanical engineering
- Dr. Kaethe Hoehling, assistant professor of counseling and rehabilitation science
- Arielle Holloway, assistant professor of nursing
- Dr. Akram Khattab, assistant professor of management
- Dr. Zulkar Nine, assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice
- Hunter Rainey, instructor of digital content creation
- LaDonna Watts, instructor of nursing
- Kelly Wiggains, assistant librarian for instruction and outreach
Dr. Alexis Johnson, associate professor of communication, is director for the ATU Center for Faculty LIFE.
The fall 2026 semester at Arkansas Tech will begin with the first day of classes on Wednesday, Aug. 19.
