For a third consecutive year, the Arkansas Tech University–Ozark Campus practical nursing program has achieved a 100 percent pass rate on the National Council on Licensure Exams (NCLEX).
“This remarkable accomplishment reflects the dedication of our students, faculty, administration and staff as well as our unwavering commitment to excellence in nursing education,” said Tangela Felkins, ATU-Ozark practical nursing program chair.
The practical nursing program at ATU-Ozark combines theory with clinical practice. It is a 15-month program that prepares students for the licensure exam. Small class sizes and strong support equip students with the skills and tools needed to succeed.
The ATU-Ozark registered nursing program also posted a 100 percent pass rate this year.
Graduates from both programs are working across the region in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities and other health care settings.
