The spring 2019 Arkansas Tech University Interdisciplinary Research Series will continue on Friday, April 5, with a lecture by Dr. Michael Rogers and Dr. Don Gooch.
Rogers (photographed, left), professor of political science at ATU, and Gooch (photographed, right), associate professor in the Stephen F. Austin University Department of Government, will present “Assessment of Civic Education in Arkansas Schools.”
The lecture will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Dr. Robert Charles Brown and Jill Lestage Brown Hall room 134. The event will be open to all members of the university community.
Rogers has served on the ATU faculty since 2007. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wabash College. His Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees were obtained at the University of Albany, State University of New York.
Gooch holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Central Arkansas, a Master of Arts degree in political science from the University of Arkansas and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in political science from the University of Missouri.
A member of the ATU faculty from 2007-12, Gooch has taught at Stephen F. Austin University for the past seven years.
