Join OAIE for Coffee and Cakes Friday

The Arkansas Tech University Office of Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness (OAIE) will continue its Assessment Academy workshop series on Friday, April 1, with a program entitled “Coffee and Cakes.”

The workshop will take place from 9-10 a.m. Friday in Rothwell Hall room 308. Participants are encouraged to bring coffee with them. Cakes will be provided. All faculty and staff are invited.

Topics will include a review of previous assessment workshops and the one-page assessment summaries that departments across campus are developing.

According to information from the OAIE, the Assessment Academy is “designed to assist (faculty and staff) in making sense of this essential task of higher education.”

After Friday’s session, only one workshop in the series will remain. It will cover both analyzing and interpreting data as well as using data. That final workshop will take place on Friday, April 22, from 9-10 a.m. in Baswell Techionery room 202.
