ATU Employees Show Their Holiday Spirit

Arkansas Tech University faculty members Kim DuVall Renteria and Kathleen Myers won first-place prizes in the ugly holiday sweater contest at the 2018 ATU faculty and staff employee holiday party on Wednesday, Dec. 5.

Renteria (photographed, left) won in the embellished category for her demonstration of a human Christmas tree. She is an instructor of criminal justice in the ATU Department of Behavioral Sciences.

Myers (photographed, right) captured the top award in the un-embellished category for her store-bought sweater inspired by Jerry the Bulldog, campus ambassador at Arkansas Tech. Myers serves in the ATU College of Education as a visiting instructor of curriculum and instruction.

Dr. Robin E. Bowen (photographed, middle), ATU president, was master of ceremonies for the contest.

Dr. David Bell and Sherry Tinerella, 2017 ugly holiday sweater champions at Arkansas Tech, judged the 2018 competition.
