ATU Choirs to Perform Monday in Russellville

Arkansas Tech University will present the ATU University Singers and the ATU Choral Artists in concert at First United Methodist Church in Russellville on Monday, April 15.

The 75-minute performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission will be free and open to the public.

The choirs will perform compositions by Kim Arnesen, Joseph Haydn, Orlando di Lasso, Skip Stradtman and Ralph Vaughan Williams.

Guest baritone soloist Dr. Jon Clements, associate professor of music at ATU, will join the University Singers. ATU Department of Music faculty members Dr. Barbara Clements, associate professor of music, and Holly Ruth Gale, associate professor of music, will be featured soloists during the Choral Artists’ portion of the program.

Dr. Christopher Harris, assistant professor of music, serves as director of choirs at Arkansas Tech.
