Arkansas Tech University student Sam Allbright is the winner of the 2016 Tech Idol competition.
Allbright took home the title with his rendition of “I Don’t Need No Doctor” by John Mayer.
Paxton Goates took second place, while Abbie Boston finished in third.
Tech Idol is an annual Homecoming Week tradition at Arkansas Tech, and it is hosted by the Residence Hall Association. For more than a decade, Tech students have gathered to celebrate the musical talents of Tech students.
