HIT Program to Host ‘Ready to Work’

The health information technology program will host a “Ready to Work” fair on Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 1-4 p.m. in the Student Services Conference Center room 117A.

The event is open to all health information technology, human services and business technology students. Students will have the opportunity learn about what employers are looking for from regional employment professionals.

Several panelists will provide information to better prepare students for employment when job searching. Panelists include:

  • Shelly Rideout, owner of Netscript, which provides transcription, coding and consulting services out of Clarksville.
  • Shirla Moody, of Medical Office Systems in Russellville.
  • Carol Helmbacher, of TEC Staffing Solutions.
  • Chris Hale, United States Air Force recruitment.

There will also be a fashion show demonstrating professional attire. Refreshments will be available, and students can register for door prizes.
