Chancellor’s Leadership Cabinet Celebrating 10 years in Spring 2019

The Chancellor’s Leadership Cabinet is celebrating ten years working in cooperation with Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus administration to advance and enhance its mission through outreach to prospective and current students, alumni and friends.

In the fall semester, students are recommended by their Departmental Program Chairs and serve for one semester. During the spring semester, the CLC members support the Chancellor’s Office by serving as student leaders at various functions and community events.

Being a member of the CLC is a great opportunity to develop an understanding of the Ozark campus history and its relationship to Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. It gives them a chance for networking and the ability to acquire connections not only with each other but across both campuses and the communities we serve.

Beverly Nehus, Assistant to the Chancellor and the CLC Advisor is excited about the CLC’s influence on the university and with the students who serve.

“Each year, by the end of the spring semester, I feel the students have expanded their understanding of our campus history and have made long-lasting relationships to carry them on to their future endeavors,” Nehus explained.

The CLC will be visiting the state capitol on Wednesday February 27, 2019 to view state legislature and represent ATU-Ozark.
