International Fashion Show a Success

Doc’s Place played host to the annual International Fashion Show, which was held yesterday in honor of International Education Week and featured numerous international students and friends modeling clothing from their native country.

The fashion show attracted more than 100 onlookers as models strutted down the runway donning their international apparel.

Arkansas Tech is home to international students from 38 countries, and most of the countries were represented in the fashion show. The show participants enjoyed sharing their native attire with other Arkansas Tech students.

Dr. Jim Collins, professor of agriculture and executive director of the Miss Tech pageant, served as master of ceremonies for the event.

The fashion show is one of the highlights of International Education Week at Arkansas Tech.  Read more about other activities as part of International Education Week.
