Employee Sexual Assault Prevention Training

Arkansas Tech University has partnered with the software company Haven to provide employee training and important skills to address sexual assault prevention.

Under federal law, Title IX, the university is required to create and maintain a safe workplace for its students, employees and the public. In order to ensure the university is in compliance with Title IX, all employees are required to complete an online training course designed to promote a greater awareness of sexual assault, stalking, intimate partner violence and sexual harassment.

Section 1 of this course is to be completed by Feb. 28, 2018. The course is divided into seven modules which involves viewing videos and taking course quizzes. The time to complete Section 1 will vary depending on the individual, but should take approximately an hour and a half to two hours.
