SUMMARY:Watson Classical Guitar Series: Ana Vidović
DESCRIPTION:Ana Vidović is from the small town of Karlovac near Zagreb\, Croatia. She started playing guitar at the age of 5 and\, at age 13\, became the youngest student to attend the prestigious National Musical Academy in Zagreb. Her reputation in Europe led to an invitation to study at the Peabody Conservatory\, from which she graduated. \nHer career has included performances in European cultural destinations such as Amsterdam\, Brussels\, Budapest\, Copenhagen\, London\, Oslo\, Paris\, Rome\, Salzburg\, Vienna\, Warsaw and Zagreb as well as performances around the globe in Australia\, Brazil\, Israel\, Japan\, Korea and Mexico. \nThis will be Vidović’s third appearance at the John and Trudy Watson Classical Guitar Series at Arkansas Tech University. She previously performed at ATU in 2014 and 2015. \nAna Vidović appears by exclusive arrangement with Diane Saldick\, LLC\, 225 East 36 Street\, New York\, NY\, 10016. Watson\, distinguished professor of mathematics and former vice president for academic affairs at ATU\, and his wife\, Trudy.
