Representatives from Arkansas Tech University’s Presidential Leadership Cabinet gathered a truckload of clothes and prepared them for delivery to a local service organization at the conclusion of the fall 2018 semester.
PLC members (photographed, from left) Natari Irvin of Jacksonville, Destiny Harris of Little Rock, Victoria Langley of Sherwood and Brianna Robinson of Little Rock worked to ensure that clothing donated by the ATU community made its way to MARVA Workshop, a non-profit organization founded in Russellville in 1968 that provides meaningful work and services to adults with developmental disabilities.
This marked the 11th consecutive year that ATU Presidential Leadership Cabinet hosted a holiday clothing drive.
PLC members work with the ATU administration to promote the university to prospective and current students, alumni and friends.
Additionally, PLC members serve as ushers at various university events and host several philanthropic events to benefit the community.
Students selected must be a full-time students who have completed at least 12 semester hours at Tech and are in good standing with the school, hold a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 and be of good moral character.
