Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center at Arkansas Tech University has planned a panel discussion related to the NOVA for PBS documentary “Decoding the Weather Machine.”

The conversation will begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, in room 300A of the library, 305 West Q Street in Russellville. The event is free and open to the public.

Scheduled panelists are Dr. Bob Allen, environmentalist and professor emeritus of chemistry at ATU; Andy Barrett, alternative energy solutions professional; Pat Ford, local farmer; and Dr. Caroline Hackerott, assistant professor of emergency management at ATU.

“Decoding the Weather Machine” examines how scientists research changing weather and climate patterns on Earth.
