Music Theatre Workshop Plans Dinner Cabaret

The Arkansas Tech University Music Theatre Workshop will present its fall 2017 dinner cabaret, “So You Want To Be A Star?” on Saturday, Nov. 18, at Williamson Hall Dining Room.

Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. and dinner service will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person, with proceeds going to the Arkansas Tech Foundation for the future development of the ensemble.

Cast members include Arkansas Tech students Rene Adams of West Memphis, Cole Birmingham of Russellville, Jordan Cravens of Van Buren, Maddie Geels of Clarksville, Jordan Ladyman of Searcy, Adam Moore of Searcy, Patricia Reece of Clarksville, Robert Warner of Little Rock and Holly Willmon of Bauxite.

Ken Futterer and Holly Ruth Gale, associate professors of music at Arkansas Tech, direct the Music Theatre Workshop.

According to Futterer, the performance will feature an “eclectic mix of songs from Broadway musicals past, present and in-between.”
