Keynote Address Rescheduled for Wednesday

Dr. Terry Trevino-Richard will provide the 2018 Hispanic Heritage Month keynote lecture at Arkansas Tech University on Wednesday, Nov. 7.

His remarks will begin at 7 p.m. in Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center room 300. Admission will be free and open to the public.

The theme of the lecture is “The Changing Face of America and Arkansas.”

This event was originally scheduled for Oct. 10, but a power outage on campus forced it to be postponed.

Trevino-Richard is professor emeritus of sociology at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock and past state director for the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC).

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in sociology and anthropology from the University of North Texas.

The event is hosted by the ATU Department of Diversity and Inclusion.
