Nancy Dane will offer a presentation entitled “Hidden Gems of History” as part of the Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center Second Monday Author Series on Monday, Nov. 12.
Dane will speak at 7 p.m. in Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center room 300B, 305 West Q Street in Russellville. Admission will be free and open to the public.
Winner of the 2011 Arkansas Library Association Arkansas Fiction Award, Dane is the author of a series of books that explore the Civil War and Reconstruction eras in the Arkansas River Valley. Her most recent novel, “Secrets,” is set in Arkansas and the territory to the west in the 1870s.
An autographed copy of “Secrets” will be awarded to one fortunate member of the audience on Monday.
