Local businesses will be able to focus on business operations through several training sessions taking place throughout the month of November. The seminars are hosted by the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) regional office at Arkansas Tech University, which is designed to assist new, existing and expanding businesses by offering a variety of services including consulting, training and market research. The following seminars will be offered in November:
- Intermediate QuickBooks (Hands on) – Tuesday, November 5, 1 – 4:30 p.m. at Beall Barclay & Company, Fort Smith. Cost is $65.
- QuickBooks Payroll (Hands on) – Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. – noon at Rothwell Hall at Arkansas Tech University. Cost is $65.
- Informed Businesses: Navigating the Affordable Care Act (Hands on) – Tuesday, November 19, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Jeral Hampton Meeting Place, Booneville. Cost is free.
- Exceptional Customer Service – Thursday, November 21, 1-4 p.m. at First National Bank Community Center in Paris. Cost is $30. Cost is $20 for Paris Chamber of Commerce members.
