Arkansas Tech University closed out the regular season portion of its 2018-19 women’s golf schedule with a sixth-place finish at the Central Region Preview on Monday and Tuesday at Rivercut Golf Club in Springfield, Mo.
The Golden Suns posted team scores of 309-315 for a 624 total. Dallas Baptist University won the event with a total of 589. A total of 20 teams competed in the event.
Pia Nunbhakdi (T-7th, 75-76-151), Jacqueline Klemm (T-13th, 76-77-153), Mackenzie Douglas (T-32nd, 78-82-160), Sydney Staton (T-38th, 80-81-161) and Allie Weiner (T-49th, 83-81-164) represented Arkansas Tech in Springfield.
The Golden Suns will compete in the Great American Conference Championships April 14-16. Arkansas Tech is the four-time defending GAC champion in women’s golf.
