Golden Suns Drop Road Game Against UCM

Central Missouri remained undefeated at home this season with a 76-71 victory over the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns in non-conference women’s basketball on Sunday afternoon at the UCM Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg, Mo.

The Jennies (9-1) made 11 3-pointers as they improved to 6-0 at home in 2012-13.

Caroline Eubanks scored a career-high 25 points for Arkansas Tech (5-4). Jessica Weatherford added 17 points and nine rebounds, Rosie Silva notched 14 points and five steals and Cara Neighbors had a career-high 11 points for the Golden Suns.
BreAnna Lewis scored a team-high 21 points for Central Missouri.

The Golden Suns will return to Great American Conference action on Thursday, Jan. 3, when they host Northwestern Oklahoma State for a 5:30 p.m. game at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville.
