Eshnaur Named All-GAC First Team

Arkansas Tech University’s Hunter Eshnaur was announced as a 2018 All-Great American Conference first team selection when the league hosted its annual awards banquet in Hot Springs on Wednesday, Nov. 7.

A senior from Russellville, Eshnaur collected her fourth consecutive All-GAC honor. She ranks sixth in school history in career kills (1,427).

Arkansas Tech junior Allie Anderson of Bryant was named 2018 All-GAC honorable mention, while senior Ellie Perkins of Van Alstyne, Texas (GAC Elite Scholar Athlete), senior Marisa Drevenak of St. Louis, Mo., (GAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete) and Eshnaur (GAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete) were recognized by the conference for their performance in the classroom.

The Golden Suns (17-11) will face Ouachita Baptist University in the first round of the 2018 GAC Tournament at Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs on Thursday, Nov. 8. First serve is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
