Best Start in Tech Volleyball History Continues

Nationally 19th-ranked Arkansas Tech University blitzed the University of Arkansas-Monticello 25-16, 25-15, 25-12 in Great American Conference volleyball at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville on Thursday night.

The Golden Suns (18-0 overall, 5-0 GAC) registered 45 kills against nine attack errors in 96 total attempts for a .375 team hitting percentage.

ATU setter Amanda Milnick collected her seventh double-double of the season with 37 assists and 12 digs.

Allie Anderson made 11 kills for the Golden Suns, while Madison Nagel notched 17 digs. Tabitha Spray recorded three service aces and Greer Rogers had five total blocks.

Arkansas Tech will be idle until Friday, Oct. 6, when it will visit East Central University for a 7 p.m. match in Ada, Okla.
