Arkansas Tech Student Government Association is hosting a blood drive this week for the Tech community.
People wishing to donate blood can stop by Doc Bryan Room 242 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, and Friday, Oct. 7.
Vice President of Community Outreach Derick McKinney encourages students to give because there is a blood shortage across the nation. “Every blood type is needed at this time, and giving the gift of life is a great way to jump into the fall season, ” McKinney said.
Blood donors must present some type of identification card before donating.
