Buhajla's Works Published

Dave Buhajla has been busy this year having two stories and five poems published in 2010.

Buhajla graduated from Arkansas Tech in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in 2008.

When away from his roles as family man or professor, Buhajla reveals his dark imagination in his writings.

His five poems include “Skull Pit,” “Perspectives,” “Rituals,” “Visions of Fire,” and “The Last Chronicle of Art Buchinsky.” His stories are “The Great Feasting” and “Con Stellmacher’s Mythological Treatise.” All have been published this year.

Buhajla’s writing career began about two years ago when he first began teaching as a graduate assistant at Arkansas Tech. He says that’s when he discovered his passion for writing. “My favorite genre to write is horror fiction because it lets me be creative,” he said.

While Buhajla taught at the Ozark Campus this summer, he teaches at the Russellville Campus during the fall and spring semesters. His classes include Composition I and II and English as a Second Language for international students. His wife, Marci, also teaches at Tech in the English Language Institute.
