Fall Back this Weekend

Arkansas Tech University students, faculty and staff will gain an extra hour this weekend.

Over the weekend, the United States will switch from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time, which means people will gain one hour of sleep.

The switch will take place between Saturday night and Sunday morning, so students, faculty and staff should set their clocks backward one hour before going to bed Saturday evening.

Students, alumni and friends can show their school spirit by being photographed on the green carpet with Jerry the Bulldog. Jerry will be at a tent throughout the festivities so fans can have their photo taken with him. Participants photographed with Jerry have the opportunity to win a stadium blanket.

As part of Homecoming 2014, several reunion groups will tailgate during the event.
