Two Leader Identified Events Coming Soon

Arkansas Tech University students will have two opportunities to build their interpersonal skills through On Track Leader Identified programs offered on Tuesday, April 24, and Wednesday, April 25.

Both events will take place in Doc Bryan Student Services Center room 242. Admission will be open to all current ATU students.

“Coaching Your Peers: Effective Helping Skills” will take place from 4-5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24. The discussion will be led by Linda Jackson, visiting instructor of college student personnel and Tech 1001 program coordinator. Jackson will provide tips on mentoring and guiding fellow students.

The April 24 program is sponsored by the ATU Department of College Student Personnel and the leadership minor team.

“Conflict: How to Confront, Collaborate and Craft the Best Outcome” will be presented by the ATU Office of Campus Life from 3-4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25.

Sallie Forrester and Anna Stark, graduate assistants in the Office of Campus Life, will speak on methods to confront peers and co-workers, work together to solve the conflict and create the best outcome for the group.
