Tech Students to Participate in Alternative Spring Break

Several Arkansas Tech University students will have the opportunity to serve others this spring as part of two Alternative Spring Break experiences offered by Arkansas Tech.

Some Tech students will travel to Nashville, Tennessee to serve, while others will have the opportunity to experience the Heifer International Global Village in Perryville, Arkansas.

During both experiences, students will have the opportunity to learn more about the needs of others and have the opportunity to serve.  Additionally, the students will be able to connect with other Tech students.

Students wishing to attend either trip have until 5 p.m. on Friday, November 8 to apply.

For the past several years, Tech students have taken part in an Alternative Spring Break experience.  Last year, students (photographed) traveled to Chicago to serve.
