Staff Senate Seeks to Assist Cupboard

The Arkansas Tech University Staff Senate is hosting a personal hygiene items drive to benefit the Green and Gold Cupboard during the month of September.

Drop boxes are located in buildings on the ATU campus in Russellville. Shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, tooth brushes, feminine needs, deodorant, hair care items, face soap, body lotion, shaving products, dish soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper and cleaning products are among the most needed items.

Green and Gold Cupboard opened in fall 2017 as a food and personal hygiene items resource for members of the ATU community. Any ATU student, faculty member or staff member in need of assistance is eligible to utilize the cupboard.

Fall 2018 hours for the Green and Gold Cupboard are Tuesdays from noon-6 p.m., Thursdays from 3-6 p.m. and Fridays from noon-3 p.m. The facility is located at 1019 N. Arkansas Ave.
