Mebi to Speak on Sustainable Energy

Dr. Charles Mebi, associate professor of chemistry at Arkansas Tech University, will offer the fifth ATU Interdisciplinary Research Series lecture of the spring 2018 semester on Friday, March 30.

The presentation, entitled “Sustainable Energy Solution Inspired by Nature,” will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Dr. Robert Charles Brown and Jill Lestage Brown Hall room 134.

Mebi joined the Arkansas Tech faculty in 2009. He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Buea, and he earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree at the University of Nevada. He won the 2016 Arkansas Tech Faculty Award of Excellence in the scholarship and creative activity category.

A reception will follow the March 30 lecture. All members of the university community are invited to attend.
