Julian Ippolito, a senior at Little Rock Central High School, was randomly selected as the winner of a fall 2016 tuition scholarship to Arkansas Tech University following Tech Open House 2015.
Ippolito was among 950 individuals who attended the 19th annual Tech Open House, an event that provides current and prospective Arkansas Tech students with an opportunity to visit with representatives from each academic discipline on campus and learn more about the available programs.
Tech Open House took place on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center.
Arkansas Tech President Dr. Robin E. Bowen presented Ippolito with his scholarship at halftime of the Homecoming football game on Saturday.
The next visit day for prospective Arkansas Tech students will be Time Out for Tech, which is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016.
