Hughey to Give Dissertation Defense at CLL

Patsy Hughey, candidate for the Doctor of Education degree in school leadership at Arkansas Tech University, will present her final dissertation defense on Thursday, July 13.

The presentation will take place at the ATU Center for Leadership and Learning, 227 State Road 333 South in Russellville, from 11 a.m.-noon. All members of the university community are invited to attend.

Hughey’s dissertation topic is “Investigating Teacher’s Self-Efficacy in Low-Performing Districts Serving Low Socioeconomic Status Before and After State Takeover.”

The ATU Doctor of Education degree in school leadership is designed for K-12 education professionals who currently serve or wish to serve in school district leadership positions.
