Members of the Arkansas Tech University Class of 2022 and their families will be formally welcomed into the ATU community during a pair of freshman convocation ceremonies at John E. Tucker Coliseum in Russellville on Sunday, Aug. 19.
ATU freshmen in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences as well as those in the College of Natural and Health Sciences will participate in a 2 p.m. ceremony.
Incoming ATU students who have selected majors in the College of Arts and Humanities, College of Business, College of Education and College of eTech as well as undeclared freshmen will attend a 3:30 p.m. ceremony.
Family members of freshmen are encouraged to attend convocation, which represents a student’s transition from high school to college.
Dr. Robin E. Bowen, ATU president, will be among the speakers at freshman convocation.
