Arkansas Tech University will host a series of campus forums to provide students, faculty and staff with an opportunity to learn more about the four finalists to become the 12th president of the institution.
All four campus forums will take place from 10-11:15 a.m. in the Doc Bryan Student Services Center Lecture Hall. Candidates will make a brief presentation followed by a question and answer session with the audience.
Below are the dates for each candidate’s campus forum:
Tuesday, April 1
*Dr. Robin E. Bowen, executive vice president and provost, Fitchburg State University
Thursday, April 3
*Dr. J. William Berry, executive vice president and provost, University of Dallas
Tuesday, April 8
*Dr. Rex Gandy, provost, Texas A&M University-Kingsville
Tuesday, April 15
*Dr. Robert J. Marley, vice president for student success, Montana State University
Arkansas Tech is seeking a successor for Dr. Robert C. Brown, who announced on Aug. 23, 2013, that the current academic year would be his last as active president of the university. Brown has served as president at Arkansas Tech since July 1, 1993.
