Arkansas Tech University has announced the individuals chosen to serve as university representatives on the Arkansas Tech Spirit Squads for the 2016-17 academic year.
The spirit squads consist of the Tech Cheerleaders and the Golden Girls.
In order to be selected for either squad, students were required to demonstrate a variety of skills and to interview for the position.
Members of the Arkansas Tech Spirit Squads perform at numerous athletic events and represent the university at civic events throughout the year.
