Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus held its pinning ceremony Thursday, Dec. 17, for fall 2015 graduates of the practical nursing program.
The following students were recognized during the ceremony with special awards voted on by their peers: Alison Fowler, Winner Award; Amanda McCabe, Friendship Award; Charles Ball, Student of the Year; and Jessica Fender, Certificate of Excellence.
Awards also were given to health care professionals who have worked with the students during their clinical training: Joey Ledford, Registered Nurse of the Year; Ashley Gattis, Licensed Practical Nurse of the Year; and Linda Brewer, Inspiration of the Year.
