‘Fall Fest’ Celebration Set for Oct. 22

The annual “Fall Fest” event is set for Thursday, Oct. 22, and promises to have fun for all ages. The festivities, which are hosted by the Student Government Association (SGA), will be held from 3-5 p.m. outside the Student Services Conference Center.

This event is free and open to the public; however, SGA has requested participants bring one canned good or non-perishable item to be donated to the community food bank.

Candy for trick-or-treaters will be given out on a first come, first served basis. There will be popcorn, concessions, hotdogs, face-painting, bounce-arounds, inflatables, games, police and fire departments, prizes and more.

Jerry the Bulldog will also be on hand for anyone wishing to have their photo taken.

Several academic programs and student organizations will be participating in the second annual “Fall Fest Chili Cook-off” and will have tasting samples available.

For more information or to enter the chili cook-off, contact SGA Advisor Angie Cox in Student Services at (479) 508-3369.
