ATU Ozark offers TEAS Testing for Students Considering Health Programs

The Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus is offering three opportunities to take the TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) test for pre-health students. The test will be offered for prospective students for a $63 fee on February 10, February 24 and March 10. All tests begin at 8:30 a.m. Seats are limited. Students are encouraged to register early.

Arkansas Tech-Ozark requires this entrance exam as part of the selective process for Practical Nursing, Paramedic, Cardio Vascular Technology, Medical Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Physical Therapist Assistant programs. For more info about these programs visit our website.

These test dates do NOT replace TEAS testing dates that will be assigned during the formal application process. These dates are open sessions that give prospective health students the opportunity to self-evaluate readiness to apply for these competitive programs. After testing, students should consider discussing pathways to ensure academic success with their advisor.

Please register and pay for your TEAS exam at Student Accounts in the Student Services office. The registration form can be filled out in Student Services or printed from our website.

The entrance exam will provide students with an assessment of abilities in reading, math, science, English and language usage. For more information about the TEAS, visit the ATI website at www.atitesting.com or call 1-800-667-7531. A study guide can be purchased directly from ATI or from the Ozark bookstore.
