ATU-Ozark Enrollment Tops 2,000 Students

Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus is celebrating its 15th anniversary as part of the ATU community with a 7.2 percent enrollment increase.

Preliminary enrollment numbers released on Friday, Sept. 7, show that 2,104 students are pursuing their academic goals through ATU-Ozark Campus in fall 2018, up from 1,962 in fall 2017.

It’s a drastic change from fall 2003, when approximately 300 students were enrolled at ATU-Ozark. The campus’ enrollment has grown by 585 percent during its Arkansas Tech era.

“ATU-Ozark is focused on career education,” said Bruce Sikes, chancellor at ATU-Ozark Campus. “Our campus exists as a pathway to additional educational opportunities through our four-year ATU campus in Russellville as well as to career opportunities immediately following graduation. ATU-Ozark has established partnerships with industry leaders throughout our region to ensure that our curriculum matches rapidly evolving workforce needs. Recent investments in facilities and equipment in fields such as allied health and automation technology are proof that ATU-Ozark has made a long-term commitment to connecting students with life-changing educational experiences and career options. We are pleased that more than 2,100 students have chosen ATU-Ozark this fall.”
