Allied Health Application Deadline, Information Sessions

Cardiovascular Technology-Adult Echocardiography, Medical Assisting, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, Practical Nursing and Registered Nursing. Medical Assisting (MA) and Occupational Therapy Assistant program classes are held at Morton Hall in Russellville. Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) program classes are held at Chaffee Crossing in Fort Smith. Applicants to CVT must attend an information session and observation clinic on Thursday, March 5, at Chaffee Crossing Building 139, 12211 Ward Drive in Fort Smith. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. with a presentation and overview of the CVT program and profession. The clinic portion will begin at 1 p.m. with an observation of echocardiography and explanation of how it works in a clinical setting. Seating is limited, and students must register to attend. Additionally, MA applicants should make arrangements to attend one of two information sessions over the MA program. The first session will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, at Morton Hall located at 1700 W. C Street in Russellville. The second session will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, at Arkansas Tech-Ozark located at 1700 Helberg Lane in Ozark. Students only need to attend one session.
