Adult Education Open House September 20

Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus Adult Education will participate in a statewide adult education open house on Thursday, Sept. 20, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at its Clarksville, Ozark and Paris adult education locations.

ATU-Ozark Adult Education offers free classes to the community to assist students in obtaining their GED as well as opportunities to improve basic skills in reading, math, language and computer and financial literacy.

The local programs also offer free classes in order to obtain WAGE certifications in customer service, bank teller, industrial and office technology as well as avenues for the public to obtain college credit at ATU-Ozark and Microsoft user certifications in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Each location will offer free food and a chance to win door prizes.

The open house locations are 400 West Cherry Street in Clarksville, 909 N. 18th Street in Ozark and 2008 East Wood Street in Paris.
