Arkansas Tech graduate Sheri Shirley was recognized for her work with children by receiving a Milken Foundation Award.  Shirley is the principal at Oakland Heights Elementary School in Russellville.

The Hughes Center in Russellville will be packed with cowboys, ghosts, scarecrows and fairies this evening as kids show up in costume to get some sweet treats.  Tonight is the annual Kids Fest at the Hughes Center in Russellville.
