Arkansas Tech Asking for Centennial Memorabilia

Arkansas Tech University is collecting Tech memorabilia for its upcoming Centennial celebration.   Organizers say all kinds of items are needed to aid in the Centennial, and collected items will be used in numerous displays to commemorate 100 years at Arkansas Tech.

Julie Morgan, Assistant to the President for the Centennial, says “Through in-kind gifts and loans of keepsake memorabilia from Tech alumni and friends of the university, we’re able to recreate a sense of what life has been like at Arkansas Tech over the past 100 years.”

A variety of items have already been collected.  The athletic blanket (shown left) is from David and Ginger Ludwick.  David graduated from Tech with a Health and Physical Education Degree in 1950.  He was an All-State Center for the Wonder Boys.

Ludwick and his wife now reside in California.
