Tom Reynolds received his music degree from Tech in 1970. He served as principal horn in the Band of Distinction for three years, while also performing with the brass choir, and both faculty woodwind and brass quintets.
After several years in the teaching profession, he and his wife Laura began operating a private business, which they still own and operate in Sherwood, Arkansas.
He has remained active in the band community through his membership in the Arkansas School Band and Orchestra Association, Arkansas Bandmasters Association, Phi Beta Mu, American School Band Directors Association and the North American Brass Band Association.
He has been on the Arkansas Tech Alumni Board of Directors since 2004, and he served as president in 2008. Still interested in playing, Reynolds now performs with the Natural State Brass Band.
