Through a partnership with the Trade Adjustment Assistance program, Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus will offer air-conditioning and refrigeration classes at Chaffee Crossing for dislocated workers.
Pending approval from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education, Arkansas Tech-Ozark will host classes for 25 students leading to a technical certificate.

The annual "Chowdown at Rivertowne" fundraiser was held Tuesday, May 15, in Ozark with community leaders volunteering to wait tables for tips, which went toward the Ozark Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund for Ozark High School gradatuates.
As finals week and its spring semester came to an end last week, Arkansas Tech University-Ozark held its 2012 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 12, in John E. Tucker Coliseum at Russellville.
