Students Receive GED During Ceremony

More than 30 graduates from Franklin, Johnson and Logan counties were presented their GED earlier this week.

In all, 36 graduates earned their GED through the Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus Adult Education program.

During the ceremony, Cass Job Corps Center Director Dan Crow encouraged the graduates to continue learning and always pushing forward.

The adult education program is designed to assist the adult learner who does not possess a high school diploma or would like to improve basic skills in computer, math, English or literacy. Adult Education is fully approved and funded by Arkansas Career Education and the Adult Education Section.
