Panel Talk to Focus on Local Entrepreneurship

Arkansas Tech University will host a panel discussion about the entrepreneurial ecosystem on Tuesday, Nov. 14, in recognition of Global Entrepreneur Week.

The discussion will begin at 10 a.m. in the W.O. Young Building Ballroom at 207 West O Street in Russellville. Admission will be free and open to the public.

Topics of conversation will include how social, governmental, economic and educational networks in a community can work together to support a culture that fosters entrepreneurship, encourages new business development and supports small businesses.

Scheduled panel participants include Randy Horton, Russellville mayor; Dr. Robin E. Bowen, ATU president; Bruce Sikes, ATU-Ozark Campus chancellor; and Korri Freeman, a 2014 ATU graduate who is co-owner of Kaleidoclasm the Gallery and KaleidoKids art classes in Russellville.

The ATU Office of Sponsored Programs and University Initiatives is sponsoring the event.
