The Arkansas Tech University Concert Chorale and Chamber Choir will perform music ranging from the Renaissance to modern times during a concert at Witherspoon Auditorium on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission will be free and open to the public.
Gary E. Morris, director of choirs at Arkansas Tech, said that highlights from the program will include performances of “The Ground” by Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo and “Nordic Polska” as arranged by Swedish composer Andres Edenroth and Finnish composer Matti Kallio.
The concert will also include a tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. and several spirituals.
Morris will conduct the choirs on Tuesday night. Brian Conatser will provide accompaniment on piano.
