ASBTDC Announces June Seminars

Several opportunities are planned for small businesses to take part in training sessions offered by the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center during the month of June. The seminars will cover several topics including online strategies and how to use QuickBooks. The regional office of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center is housed at Arkansas Tech, and it is designed to assist new, existing and expanding businesses by offering a variety of services including consulting, training, and market research. The following seminars will be offered in June:

  • Website in a Day (Hands on) — Wednesday, June 12 from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Morrilton Chamber of Commerce.  Speaker: Ronda Hawkins, ASBTDC.  Cost is Free.
  • Intermediate QuickBooks (Hands on)  — Thursday, June 20 from 9 a.m. – noon at Arkansas Tech University Rothwell Hall Room 308. Speaker: Ronda Hawkins, ASBTDC.  Cost is $65.
  • Get Listed Locally (Hands on) — Wednesday, June 26 from 2 – 4 p.m. at Arkansas Tech University Rothwell Hall Room 313.  Cost is Free.
  • Introduction to QuickBooks (Hands on)  — Thursday, June 20 from 1-4 p.m. at Beall Barclay and Company in Fort Smith.  Speaker: Larissa Miller, Beall Barclay and Company.  Cost is $65.
