ASBTDC Announces June Offerings

 

The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center is offering several trading sessions throughout the month of June.

The seminars cover a variety of topics including leadership, marketing and starting a business.

The regional office of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center is housed at Arkansas Tech, and it is designed to assist new, existing and expanding businesses by offering a variety of services including consulting, training and market research.

The following seminars will be offered in May:

  • Essentials of Leadership – Tuesday, June 5, 1-4 p.m., Dardanelle Chamber of Commerce; Cost is $65.  Presenter is Terry Barclay of Performance Solutions.
  • Free & Local: Small Business Marketing – Tuesday, June 12, 9-11 a.m., 3:30 p.m., Arkansas Tech University Rothwell Hall Room 133; Cost is $30. Presenter is Jennifer Terrell of the Small Business and Technology Development Center.
  • QuickBooks Payroll (Hands on) – Monday, June 18, 5:30-8:30 p.m., Arkansas Tech University Rothwell Hall Room 133; Cost is $65. Presenter is Brandon Morris of Baron’s, Inc.
  • Starting a Business in Arkansas – Tuesday, June 19, 1-4 p.m., Russellville Chamber of Commerce; Cost is $30. Presenter is Jennifer Terrell of the Small Business and Technology Development Center.
  • Search Engine Optimization – Thursday, June 21, 1-4 p.m., Arkansas Tech University Rothwell Hall Room 133; Cost is $30. Presenter is Michael Stoker of Arkansas Tech.
  • How to Make Your Business Eco-Friendly – Tuesday, June 26, 9-11 a.m., Arkansas Tech University Rothwell Hall Room 133; Cost is $30. Presenter is Debbie Stanley of Conagra Foods.
