The Arkansas Tech University Office of Facilities Management will host a 2016 Arbor Day service project for students, faculty and staff on Friday, April 29.
In cooperation with the City of Russellville, the project will consist of raking and freshening the mulch around the trees located alongside North Phoenix Avenue adjacent to the Arkansas Tech campus in Russellville. Participants will also perform some light tree trimming as needed.
Interested parties may report to the Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex parking lot at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 29. All necessary supplies will be provided. Those wishing to bring their own gloves are invited to do so. It is anticipated that the project will last between two and four hours.
